BMW E36 M3 V10 S85 GTR

Race Pilot owner Martin Christov's ambitious project — a BMW E36 M3 transplanted with the S85B50 V10 from a BMW E60 M5. Development spanned nearly 3.5 years of continuous work.

The S85B50 engine (80k km) runs Kohler Racing Tornado SC management for 550 hp. Paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox from the E9x M3 and a 3.73 differential with 75% lock.

Cooling: HOWE Racing 26-litre radiator, two Revotec electric fans, Davies Craig electric water pump (150 L/min), and a 23-row Automotive Plumbing Solutions oil cooler.

Brakes: Brembo 6-piston front calipers (360mm discs), Brembo 4-piston rear (350mm), EBC Yellowstuff pads, HEL stainless brake lines.

Suspension: D2 Racing SuperSport coilovers (864 adjustment options), Powerflex Black Motorsport bushings, MG Solutions custom uniball tie-rods.

Bodywork respray in diamontschwarz metallic. Carbon roof, wide-body flares, carbon front lip and diffuser. Fiberglass fenders, skirts, hood, trunk. Lexan rear and side windows with air ducts. Built for Time Attack 2018 and BMW Cup competition.
